How is adaptive organization physically instantiated, informationally constrained, dynamically maintained, and causally propagated across the stratified levels of living systems?
Adaptive physiological systems display remarkable abilities to regulate, adapt, and maintain function across multiple scales of biological organization.
Although important advances have been made in physiology, systems biology, thermodynamics, cybernetics, and information theory, these explanations often remain isolated within individual disciplines.
The goal of this project is to develop a mathematically and physically coherent framework capable of integrating these perspectives while remaining grounded in physiology.
